PURPOSE: A method and a system for supplying travel information are provided to enable a client to receive detailed travel information, a customizing map on demand to an inputted destination, and other travel related service through a data link of an on-line and an off-line. CONSTITUTION: A client connects to a travel information supply server using a client terminal and performs a log-in process by inputting certification information(S200). The client selects a detailed information search menu according to inherent codes and inputs an inherent code number with respect to information to be searched(S210). A detailed information search unit of the travel information supply server judges whether a code system is a normal and judges whether a corresponding inherent code is existed in a detailed information database according to inherent codes(S220). If the corresponding code is existed, a name with respect to the inherent code is output(S230). It is checked whether the corresponding code is the code which is searched by the user(S240). If the corresponding code is the code which is searched by the user, detailed data with respect to the inherent code are output(S250).
