PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent changes in the properties of garbage, when the garbage is dried. SOLUTION: The garbage-treatment system mixes a part or all of mixed combustion gas from a dry treating unit 32 with a combustion gas 23 mixed in a first mixer 27 and a mixed combustion gas 28 of a drying air 26, supplies the mixed gas from a second mixer 29 to the unit 32. The system further mixes the high temperature combustion gas 23, the drying air 26 and the circulating gas 34. Thus, the system can dry a large quantity of mixed combustion gas 28, having a low steam partial pressure at a relatively low temperature, as compared with only the gas 23, and can prevent the change of the properties of the garbage.
