PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder block of a water-cooled multicylindered engine that can cool cylinders equally. SOLUTION: The water-cooled multicylindered engine has a plurality of chambers partitioned by partition walls in the cylinder block, a liner is arranged to each of the chambers. In the water-cooled multicylindered engine, a hole is formed in each partition wall so that the hole is formed non-axisymmetric, with respect to a line extending in parallel with a longitudinal direction that passes on a position of the shortest distance from the liner on the partition wall, thereby a cooling water supply means for supplying the cooling water to one of the chambers in the cylinder block is formed.
