PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a case having no squared corner even if it is shaped with a thin material, resulting in obtaining a case having a favorable appearance, and also to obtain a method for easily manufacturing such a case. SOLUTION: The case 10 comprises a housing part 12 and a cover 14. The housing part 12 is formed by a main surface member 16 and wall members 18-24 surrounding it. A slope surface 28 is shaped by forming creases 26a, 26b between the main surface member 16 and the wall members 18-24. Flaps 30 are formed at the opposing wall members 18, 22 and wall members 20, 24 are fixedly secured to the flaps 30. Creases 32a and 32b are formed between the wall members 18, 22 and flaps 30, shaping slope surface parts 34. A tongue shaped tip 36 is formed extending from the end of the slope surface part 34 to the main member 16. The cover 14 is also formed so that it is of the same structure as the housing part 12.
