PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector, which reflects incident light concentrically in a specified direction by providing directivity to light reflected from the rugged surface of the reflector, and to provide a liquid crystal display with the reflector and a portable electronic information device with the liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: The reflector for a liquid crystal display has a random rugged and surface, diffusion angle θ of light reflected by the reflector has the relation θ(horizontal direction)<θ(vertical direction), and the reflector is formed by photolithography, in such a way that 30 times or higher than the intensity of the reflected light as the intensity of light reflected by a standard white board is obtained in a range of 10 deg.<=|θ|<=30 deg.. |
