PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood spring bed which can be compactly housed, and also, can become instantly usable by simply being expanded at the time of usage. SOLUTION: This wood spring bed which can be compactly housed includes a large number of spring-like plate members, flexible band members, and supporting members. In this case, the flexible band members connect at least two locations of the plate members in such a manner that respective plate members may be arranged approximately in parallel. The supporting member is mounted on both end sections of each plate member, and supports respective plate members to a floor surface.
