METHOD FOR FORMATION AND SECRETION OF USEFUL PROTEIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming and secreting a useful protein, by which a plasmid incorporated with a useful protein is transferred to a body tissue cell and a protein useful for a self cell is formed and secreted in a high concentration for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A plasmid incorporated with a useful protein such as IL-12, is transferred to a body tissue cell, especially to a muscle cell. The plasmid is efficiently transferred by a low-voltage electroporation for impressing an electric pulse having about 15 V to about 35 V voltage to the muscle cell so as to form and secrete the protein useful for the self cell in a high concentration for a long period of time.
