PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle tip part cover member by which medical treatment work is not disturbed before used as an injection needle, a tip part of the injection needle is properly protected after used as the injection needle, and a protection member is hardly removed even when an external force is applied. SOLUTION: This needle tip part cover member is equipped with a plate shaped body 4 of which one end is fixed on a needle hub 2 side and axial- directional length can be bent to be smaller than half of the length at extending so as to maintain pre-cover condition, and a cover part 6 for covering the needle tip part 1a when the bent plate shaped body 4 is extended. The plate shaped body 4 is formed to have an enough length that the cover part 6 reaches the needle tip part 1a when extended. The plate shaped body 4 is formed to be recessed to a needle 1 side along the width direction thereof in order to resist the external force to remove the cover part 6 covering the needle tip part 1a from the needle tip part 1a.
