PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental instrument providing a high optical transmission effect and reliable and easy mesial/distal contact between an optically curing restoration and an adjacent tooth, and being applicable to restorations of all sizes, for assisting packing and curing of the restoration. SOLUTION: The dental instrument includes an insertion member 1 for adjusting contact between the restoration and an adjacent surface. The insertion member has a substantially cylindrical upper end section 4 and a lower end section 5 configured to be positioned substantially concentrically with respect to the restoration within a dental preparation. |
