PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist a person with an impaired lower extremity, who can walk with the aid of a handrail or crutches, in walking in a standing position. SOLUTION: The user's body is interposed between side faces 4 and 4a interconnected at their fronts and provided respectively in right and left standing positions, with both of the user's sides placed on side supports 7 and 7a each of which is adjustable in its vertical position. After a main body 1 is pushed out, the user can move forward by putting his/her weight on the side supports 7 and 7a, and repeating the process of keeping his/her feet off the ground and then shaking his/her body forward to set the feet on the ground. |
