CALLER IDENTIFICATION METHOD IN TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A caller identification method in a terminal is provided to identify a specific caller through a specified bell or vibration of the terminal when connecting a call with a specific caller from a base station, thereby capable of taking a telephone call to the specific caller selectively. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(100) receives a telephone number and a destination mode selection signal of the telephone number of the specific originator from a manager and then transmits the various signals to an MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(200). The MSM(200) stores the telephone number of the specific caller to a memory(400) and when receiving the telephone number of the specific caller, compares the number to the stored number and then outputs a generation signal corresponding to the telephone number to an alarm processing unit(500). A transmission/reception unit(300) receives the telephone number and a signal for connecting a call of the specific originator from the base station and then outputs the signal to the MSM(200).
