PURPOSE: To provide a connection terminal for securely connecting a circuit board to a flat conductor, which is free from irregular deformation at a contact part even if it is pressure contacted aslant or sideways and maintains an optimum contact pressure. CONSTITUTION: The terminal is made of a strip conductive plate material 11, at an end of which are formed a fixing part 12 for fitting to a circuit board 30 and a contact part 14 set along an extension of the fixing part 12 bent toward the fixing part 12 side of the strip conductive plate material 11 and elastically deformed circling the bent part 13 to get pressure contacted with the nearly flat conductor. From the width direction of the fixing part 12, a pair of side walls 16a, 16b are bent toward the contact part 14 down to a height to restrain excessive deformation of the contact part 14 when the contact part 14 is pressure contacted by a flat conductor 40. Further, it is so structured that both sides of the contact part 14 come in contact with or adjacent to inner side walls of the slim side walls 16a, 16b, by making the distance of between the pair of the side walls wider than the width of the contact part 14.
