PURPOSE: A method for managing a sequential index using a virtual queue at memory in a limited queue structure is provided to prevent data from being confused when previous data are removed and new data are stored simultaneously by providing and maintaining a sequential index at all data, respectively for preventing a confusion at searching data at a memory in a limited queue structure. CONSTITUTION: A virtual queue, which is an integral multiple of an actual memory queue, is constituted, and the virtual queue is managed by a sequential index for a search(ST11). The front and rear in the queue are moved whenever data are increased, and the sequential index for a search is moved with an order thereof maintained(ST12).
