PURPOSE: A contents billing method is provided to bill contents usage fee based on a usage time when a user uses contents, offered over the internet, at an internet cafe which is a place allowing the user to use a PC for playing a game or accessing a web site over the internet. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user requesting a charged online game to a contents provider at a PC offered by the internet cafe which is a member of a PSP(Payment Service Provider)(S10), the contents provider transmitting a request for authenticating the user and billing contents usage fee to the PSP(S20), the PSP searching for a member which the user is affiliated at, and requesting an identification of the user and a payment of the contents usage fee to the member(S30), the member identifying the requested user, notifying the user of the contents usage fee, and transmitting information on the contents usage fee to the PSP(S40), the PSP accumulating the contents usage fee for the member and the contents provider accumulating contents usage fee for the corresponding game(S50), the user requesting the contents provider to stop the game service, the contents provider transmitting the game stop request data to the PSP, and then the PSP identifying the user again and storing the contents usage time, the PSP determining the contents usage fee for the member and transmitting the contents usage fee to the member, the member identifying the user and notifying the user of the contents usage fee, the member transmitting contents usage stop check data to the PSP, the PSP stopping accumulation of the contents usage fee for the member and the contents provider stopping accumulation of the contents usage fee for the corresponding game, and finally the member receiving the contents usage fee from the user.
