PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part designing method capable of designing a part in a short time and also at a low cost. SOLUTION: A prototype part concept is prepared (step S10), a thermal analysis is performed by using a thermal analysis model of a prototype part subjected to the concept (step S11), the prototype part concept is reconsidered in accordance with the results of the thermal analysis (step S12), and a prototype part is designed on the basis of the reconsidered prototype part concept (step S13). The designed prototype part is further tested (step S14), a mass production part concept is made reflecting the test results (step S15), the thermal analysis of a mass production part subjected to the concept is performed (step S16), the mass production part concept is reconsidered in accordance with the thermal analysis results (step S17), and a mass production part is designed on the basis of the reconsidered mass production part concept (step S18).
