PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film processor by which photographic film cut after reciprocative scanning is efficiently and successively housed in a sheet. SOLUTION: This film processor is provided with a line CCD 44 reading the image of a belt photographic film by the reciprocative scanning, a film cutter inserter 40 cutting the photographic film and housing it in the film housing sheet after reading the image, and a sheath body 50 provided between the line CCD and the inserter 40. The sheath body 50 is constituted to rotate by 180 deg. around an axis when the photographic film is inserted. Thus, work for replacing the leading and tailing ends of the film after cutting the photographic film carried out from the sheath body 50 is not needed.
