PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor in which a rotation position sensor can be provided while the deterioration in efficiency of the motor is avoided. SOLUTION: A distance d1 between poles 3a and 3b positioned at an opening of a slot 4a in which rotation position sensors 6a and 6b are provided and distances d2 and d3 between poles 3 positioned at openings of slots 4b and 4c are made equal. The opening angleθ1 of the slot 4a, the opening angleθ2 of the slot 4b, and the opening angleθ3 of the slot 4c are made to differ each other. |
