PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reduction in cost and the shortening of a construction period by enabling reliable thermal insulation for a foundation section of a cold storage, etc., by means of a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: A cover-shaped hard thermal insulating material 10, which is composed of hard wood, etc., and covers a pile head, is embedded in a concrete base 2, whereto a head part of a pile 1 is connected, on the under surface of a floor slab 3 in the foundation section of an automatic rack warehouse such as the cold storage, a refrigerated warehouse, a frozen warehouse, a chilled warehouse or a general warehouse. An underfloor thermal insulating material 11 is provided on the under surfaces of the floor slab 3 and of the base 2. The material 10 is composed of a side-surface hard thermal insulating material 10a and a horizontal-surface hard thermal insulating material 10b. The under surface of the material 10a is integrated continuously with the material 11, and the reliable thermal insulation can be brought about by the simpler adiabatic structure than ever. Additionally, the buffer effect of the material 10 allows the pile head to almost undergo pin joint for the purpose of being capable of awakening the expectation of exercising a favorable influence on the evaluation of the degree of fixation of the pile-head.
