PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmissive color liquid crystal display element changing a spectrum (intensity transmittance) of light outgoing from the display panel into the targeted spectrum. SOLUTION: In the transmissive color liquid crystal element using a cholesteric liquid crystal color filter 22, the transmissive color liquid crystal display element is provided with the cholesteric liquid crystal color filter 22 setting the spectrum of the transmitted light measured with the vertical light incident on the cholesteric liquid crystal color filter 22 to have 3-50 nm longer wavelength relative to the spectrum of the light outgoing from the display panel of the liquid crystal element using the cholesteric liquid crystal color filter 22. |
