PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mend deteriorated insulation properties of a cable conductor. SOLUTION: Hygroscopic materials are arranged inside cable terminals containing cable conductors composed of several hundreds of pairs. Since the pressure of steam inside a cable terminal is lowered by these hygroscopic materials, and a water film between cable conductors 1a, 1b become thin, the water film is divided into a water film 10a on the surface of the cable conductor 1a and a water film 10b on the surface of the cable conductor 1b, and an ion insulating property between the cable conductors is kept high. By using wood or a high molecular hygroscopic material as a hygroscopic material, the life of the insulation property of each cable conductor with respect to thermal oxidation is improved, and in addition an excellent hygroscopic and dehumidifying characteristic is obtained.
|
