PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the insertion of a medium such as a credit card or an IC card into an insertion slot for inserting an Edmonson ticket, a commuter pass and a cybernetic card. SOLUTION: A medium is determined to be the Edmonson ticket when a sensor 1a or 1b is shaded; only the sensor 1a is shaded; only the sensor 1b is shaded; the sensor 1a is shaded, the sensor 1b is shaded, a sensor 2a receives light and a sensor 2b receives light; or the sensor 2b receives light and the sensor 2b is shaded. The medium is determined to be the IC card or credit card when the sensor 1a or the sensor 1b is shaded; the sensor 2a is shaded, the sensor 2b is shaded, a sensor 3a is shaded and a sensor 3b receives light; the sensor 2a is shaded, the sensor 2b is shaded, the sensor 3a receives light and the sensor 3b is shaded; or the sensor 2a is shaded, the sensor 2b is shaded, the sensor 3a receives light and the sensor 3b receives light. The medium is determined to be the cybernetic card, the commuter pass or a magnetic large- sized ticket when all the sensors 1a-3b are shaded. |
