METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING HOLDER OF TENSION SHADOW MASK-FRAME ASSEMBLY OF CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for assembling a holder of a tension shadow mask-frame assembly of a cathode ray tube are provided to maintain an interval between an inner face of a panel and a shadow mask by using a marriage method. CONSTITUTION: A mask-frame assembly is fabricated by welding and fixing a shadow mask(16) to a frame(18). A panel(12) is arranged on a panel reference plate(50). The height(h1,h2) of an inner face of the panel(12) is measured. Four substitute stud pins(53) are installed in a lower portion of the same height from four stud pins of the mask-frame assembly. A holder(20) is inserted into the substitute stud pins(53). The mask-frame assembly is loaded on a mask-frame assembly loading block(55) which is arranged in the lower portion of the panel reference plate(50). A position of the mask-frame assembly loading block(55) is handled by a fine control device.
