PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of surely moving up and down a drain valve in simple structure in a cable for operating the drain valve. SOLUTION: In the cable 6 for operating the drain valve, pressing force for opening the drain valve 4 and pulling force for closing the drain valve 4 are individually exerted by separate power transmission wires 41, 42. Thus, necessary characteristics are simplified individually by the first and second power transmission wires 41, 42 as compared with the conventional case using a single power transmission wire. Accordingly, the above two power transmission wires 41, 42 are simply selected from inexpensive wires on the market, and the push and pull operation can be performed quickly and surely.
