PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device, provided with an injector having double solenoid coils for valve opening and holding an opened valve and capable of stable fuel injection. SOLUTION: This engine control device controls to drive a fuel injection valve, having the coils for valve opening and holding the opened valve, and has a calculating means, a valve-opening coil-driving circuit for working out the signal for driving the opened valve-holding coils, and a signal compensation means. The calculating means outputs a valve-opening signal, and the compensation means compensates for the valve opening signal to output the compensated signal as that for controlling the valve opening coil to the valve opening coil- driving circuit.
