PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents receiver that receives a plurality of contents and can surely exclude contents undesirably used more effectively than in a conventional receiver. SOLUTION: The contents receiver that receives a plurality of contents is provided with a designation section that receives contents received via any of channels and designates a channel whose use is permitted among the channels according to an operation. The receiver permits the use of contents only received via the designated channel.
