The device has two piston-compressors and two multiplicator jacks and a reservoir of compressed air. The pistons (1,2) refill the air reservoir (7), this compressed air being injected in the cylinders and multiplicator jacks (3,4) by a system of pipes and valves, with the force being transmitted to the crankshaft (k) and to the flywheel (8) to rotate it. There is a drive train and a clutch (13) which activates the gearbox (14), with a starter driving this flywheel which in-turn drives a dynamo or alternator (9), this dynamo charging a battery (10), this battery driving an electric motor (11) which, in turn drives the compressor (12) which refills the air cylinder (7) via conduits.
