PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition that exhibits mechanical properties and extrusion moldability superior to those of conventional thermoplastic elastomers, and a molded item thereof. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic elastomer component comprising a rubber (A) and a resin (B) with 0.01-2.0 pts.wt. of at least one of a peroxycarbonate and a peroxydicarbonate as a crosslinking agent (C) followed by a dynamic heat treatment. Preferably, the rubber (A) is at least one selected from among ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated copolymer rubbers (A1) and ethylene/α-olefin copolymer rubbers (A2). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
