Polypropylene sheet for thermoforming wherein at least one layer comprises a propylene polymer containing at least 0.8 % by weight of ethylene and optionally one or more C~4-C~10 .alpha.-olefins, or a propylene polymer composition containing at least 0.8 % by weight of one or more comonomers selected from ethylene and C~4-C~10 .alpha.-olefins, and having the followin g features: 1) a melting temperature of 155 ~C or higher; 2) a content of fraction soluble in xylene at room temperature lower than 4 % by weight, and a value of the ratio of the polymer fraction collected at the temperature rang e from 25 ~C to 95 ~C to the said xylene soluble fraction higher than 8.
