PURPOSE: A pneumatic screw fastening apparatus is provided to enhance the convenience of screw fastening operation by allowing alignment of a screw fed from a feeder to be maintained until it is completely fastened. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus is disclosed for fastening a screw by pneumatically propelling a driver(12) by the operation of a switch(16) of a main body(10). The pneumatic screw fastening apparatus comprises a guide duct(14), a guide extension(20) and an air cylinder(30). The guide duct(14) is resiliently supported at the lower end of the main body(10) in order to receive the driver(12), and communicated with a vacuum tube(34) at the upper end thereof. The guide extension(20) is mounted on the lower end of the main body(10) to be moved upwardly or downward so that it receives the lower ends of the driver(12) and the guide duct(14). The guide extension(20) communicates with a feeding tube(24) for feeding a screw at one side thereof. The air cylinder(30) is installed to provide operation force for upward and downward movement of the guide extension(20).
