PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selling ice cream by which unwrapped ice cream 9 is housed inside a glass display case 2 and sell the ice cream from behind the display case 2 face-to-face with a customer in front of the case over the top surface of the case. SOLUTION: The glass display case 2 is provided on a machine platform 1. The case 2 is partitioned by an insulating panel 3 on the inside. The upper part of the insulating panel 3 is a display compartment 4 for a sample or a model at room temperature and the lower part is an ice cream refrigerated compartment 5. A sliding door 6 is provided at the back of the case 2 and ice cream 9 is stored in the refrigerated compartment 5 while a sample or a model 9' of the ice cream 9 is stored in the display compartment 4.
