FIELD: lighting engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed light tower has inflatable support secured on bottom flange with air-intake port, electric lamp disposed in inner space of support, strut joined with bottom flange, air charger with motor, power transfer facility connected to lamp and to power supply. Bottom flange mounts air charger with drive, light-tower control unit, and power transfer facility whose layout depends on light tower design alternate. Light-power support that functions as its enclosure is built of two parts, top and bottom ones joined together; adjacent ends of support parts are joined together by means of air-tight split joint; bottom part of enclosure is joined with flange; means for varying length of enclosure bottom part is attached to external surface of enclosure top part. Tower incorporates provision for automatic air supply from air pressure transducer to air space of support. ^ EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, simplified design, and intensified luminous flux. ^ 15 cl, 29 dwg |
