<p>A servo motor drive control system comprising a command unit, e.g. a numeric controller, a plurality of drive controllers for controlling the drive of a servo motor, a first communication line for transmitting data, e.g. a control command, from the command unit to the drive controllers, and a second communication line for transmitting data, e.g. detection data, from the drive controllers to the command unit and adapted for controlling the servo motor synchronously by communicating data among the drive controllers through the communication lines, wherein the cycle of communication among the drive controllers is 1/n (n is an integer) that of the command unit. Since an synchronism error correction control command can be transmitted at high speed from one drive controller to another drive controller without being restricted by the control cycle of the command unit, no operation load for generating a synchronism error correction control command is imposed to the command unit, and the synchronism error due to a disturbance, e.g. an impulse, can be converged in a short time.</p> |
