PURPOSE: A method and a system for managing an order based on a network are provided to transfer all the data to the database of the server of a main office through the Internet at real time. CONSTITUTION: The system includes a main server(101) and the table terminals(107), counter terminals(109), kitchen terminals(111) and hall terminals(113) of respective stores(105a-105n). The main server is connected with the counter terminals through the networks(103). An order of a customer is inputted through the table terminal of each table. An order bill depending on the information of the order is generated by the table terminal. The bill is transmitted to the kitchen terminal and the hall terminal. A chef prepares the dish ordered by the customer. In a hall, the present conditions and food serving conditions are checked through the hall terminal. After eating, the customer pays the bill through the counter terminal on the counter. The daily, weekly and monthly sales are settled in each store based on the sales information stored in the counter terminals. |
