<p>Charging corresponding to the size, resolution, output method of a content is performed when the user downloads or outputs the content. A content charging system comprises a content server, a portal Web server which a user accesses, and a commerce server for managing information concerning a user and information concerning use and purchase of a content by a user. The system carries out charging upon output by performing a step of setting an authentication key when a user downloads a content containing data on a sample and the content, charging information, attribute information concerning control of use of the content, and a unique ID for identifying the content, a step of transmitting the content to a user terminal in response to use request information designated and transmitted by an authenticated user and allowing the user terminal to detect the attribute information included in the contents, and a step of decoding the content in response to the user request information when charging is authenticated according to the user request information and the content is outputted and outputting the content.</p> |
