PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culm transporting apparatus effective for suppressing the pull-out of a culm at the intermediate connecting part while using a compression spring and a rod made of the same material at each connection part. SOLUTION: The connection part 1b positioned in the middle of several connection parts 1b arranged in the culm transporting direction is extended toward the rail bed 13 to set the gap between the middle connection part 1b and the rail bed 13 to be narrower than the gap between the connection parts 1b at both ends and the rail bed 13.
