PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable precise positioning of a workpiece with a boss at a predetermined position. SOLUTION: A positioning tool, which is used for positioning the workpiece W with a boss Wa at a predefined processing location, is comprised of an expansion and contraction adjustable axial member 103 which is reamed by screwing up a nut 102 in a state of penetrating a boss hole 101 of the boss Wa and concentrically pressure-joined on the boss W and, a main body 104 which holds the workpiece W through an axial member 103.
