PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for pulling out tapes in succession from a plurality of rolled tape rolls. SOLUTION: A base 2 is disposed adjacent to a peripheral surface of a group 1 of tapes consisting of the plurality of rolled tape rolls b stacked one on top of another with their axis in a vertical direction. A movable body 3 is slidably engaged with the base. A detecting means 4 is attached to the movable body for determining whether one of the tape rolls forming the group of tapes is present, and an operating means 5 is provided for controlling the movement of the movable body based on a detected signal of the detecting means. A guide means 6 is mounted to the movable body along the diameter of the topmost tape roll in the group of tapes for guiding the tape of the tape roll so that this tape is pulled out of a center part of the group of tapes.
