METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDINGS OF FIBER-REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating and reusing a waste FRTP resin by which it is possible to obtain remoldings with especially an outstanding mechanical physical property such as an impact strength through controlling the cutting of a reinforcing fiber contained in the FRTP resin by forming the remoldings in a single way without passing through an extrusion step, and cut a molding material cost by virtue of the use of the waste FRTP resin and further, make the effective use of the resources. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the FRTP resin moldings is characterized by comprising the first step to accumulate small pieces of the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin (hereafter called 'FRTP') composed of a thermoplastic resin and the reinforcing fiber, in such a shape approximating to the final moldings, the second step to obtain a molten material by thermally melting the accumulated pieces and the third step to mold the molten material into the final moldings.
