PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glazing agent for bread, capable of enabling a necessity minimum amount thereof to be coated on the surface of the bread by an electrostatic oiling device, and capable of imparting excellent luster to the surface of the bread without causing stickiness, and further to provide a method for glazing the bread by using the glazing agent. SOLUTION: This glazing agent is characterized in that the agent consists of a vegetable oil and fat composition having 5,000-200,000 pS/m electrical conductivity. The method for glazing the bread is characterized in that the glazing agent is coated on the surface of the bread by making the glazing agent fine grain by the electrostatic oiling device. |
