PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably hold a workpiece in an inversion device and enhance general-purpose properties by easily coping with the change of the workpiece. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an inversion means 4, which has an arc-shaped arm 2 and a roller supporting part 3, and a supporting mechanism 5 for suspending and supporting the inversion means 4. The supporting mechanism 5 is provided with a slewing mechanism part 6, a hoisting and lowering mechanism part 7 and a horizontal displacement mechanism part 8. A clamp means 1 attached to the arm 2 is displaced back, forth, right, left, up and down, and the arm 2 is moved in an arc shape so as to make the attitude of the clamp means 1 inverted and turned freely at an angle of 360 degrees. The clamp means 1 is provided with the first clamp 21, the second clamp 22 and the third clamp 23, which serve to hold the workpiece 60, and the mounting position of the first detachable clamp 21 is made freely selectable.
