PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible medical care arm which supports a microwave irradiator for a microwave therapeutic device, or the like, and saves processing time in not changing a direction of an irradiator, or the like, even when the arm is required to be made flexible. SOLUTION: The medical care arm whose length can be adjusted by inserting a freely sliding flexible portion 1 in a basic portion 3, whereas the flexible portion 1 and the basic portion 3 are fitted in a convex and concave, respectively, which are formed on the surface with which the flexible portion 1 and basic portion 3 come in contact and allowed to be slid toward the central axis direction of the arm but not rotated. Since the flexible portion 1 is fixed not to rotate around the central axis, the direction of the irradiator won't be changed due to the weight of the irradiator attached to a tip of the arm when the arm length is to be adjusted, thus making it possible to save time of an operator upon deciding the position of the irradiator and improving the efficiency of medical care services. |
