PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a see-through type head rest which easily and precisely arranges a skin layer with a through aperture opened through forward/backward in the center and a method for manufacturing the head rest. SOLUTION: This device 20 for manufacturing the see-through type head rest is constituted of a top force 21 and a bottom force 22 for forming an inner space which coincides with the desired final outer profile of the head rest when the forces are clamped and a core 30 with an outer shape matching the through aperture 16 of the skin layer 11 integrally formed with a foam. In addition, a skin assembly 10 with the core 30 insetted in the through aperture 16 of the skin layer 11 is arranged inside the interior of the top force 21 and the bottom force 22, then both forces 21 and 22 are clamped and a foaming stock solution is injected into the interior 12 of the skin layer 11 through a nozzle insertion orifice 15. |
