PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a compressive torque applying to a stencil base paper to be compressed and, at the same time, reduce a load applied to a stencil printing equipment equipped with a waste plate compressing plate for compressing a waste stencil base paper against a waste plate box. SOLUTION: By counting a reference clock, which is generated with a H/W timer 5, through the measurement of the period of the encoder pulses of a rotary encoder 9 annexed to a waste plate compressing motor 8 for driving the waste plate compressing plate 1, the compressive torque is detected so as to emit a detection signal when the compressive torque reaches a certain value in order to stop the compression of the waste plate. |
