PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of accurately printing, on a second surface, an image agreeing with an image on a first surface even when an environment causes a web discharged from a first printer to shrink or expand. SOLUTION: The first printer P1 forms an alignment mark Rm in a predetermined position of each page of the web W. A mark detecting means 16 of a second printer P2 detects this alignment mark Rm. A control means 17 controls transfer speed of the web so that generation timing of a web feed control signal (CPF-N signal) generated in a preset cycle and generation timing of a mark detection signal generated by the mark detecting means 16 through the detection of the alignment mark Rm are constantly in phase. |
