PURPOSE:To provide a composition being useful as a rust preventive for a metal structure in a high temperature corrosive environment, by blending a petrolatum base with a noncrystalline hydrocarbon polymer having an average mol.wt. of 2,000 or more and a thickening agent. CONSTITUTION:The composition obtained by blending 100pts.wt. petrolatum with 3-120pts.wt. noncrystalline hydrocarbon polymer having an average mol.wt. of 2,000 or more and 1-40pts.wt. thickening agent. As petrolatum, dark green, green, red, amber or light amber petrolatum is preferably, while polyisobutylene, atactic polypropylene, natural rubber or the like is used as a noncrystalline hydrocarbon polymer, and super pulverized silica, super pulverized precipitate calcium carbonate or the like is used as a thickening agent. |
