<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box opening/closing mechanism which can house a heavy cargo and is excellent in operability. SOLUTION: The glove box opening/closing mechanism has a glove compartment body 13 in which a housing space 3 having an opening toward the inside of a car cabin 12 is formed on an instrumental panel 2 located in front of an occupant seat side 1a at an assistant seat side, and which is installed freely slidable along from within the housing space 3 to the front and rear direction of a car. A lock mechanism 18 which can retain the globe box body 13 at an intermediate position between the fully closed and the fully opened states in the front and rear direction of car is provided.</p> |
