PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a denitration device capable of rapidly exhibiting a predetermined denitration performance in the denitration device provided with a denitration catalyst in a boiler. SOLUTION: In the control method for the denitration device 7, a reducing agent having an amount corresponding to a burning amount is fed and is reacted on a denitration catalyst 14 in the boiler 1. At the time of activation of the denitration device 7, until an adsorption amount of the reducing agent on the denitration catalyst 14 reaches to a predetermined amount, a supply amount of the reducing agent is increased. |
