PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device and an image forming device, capable of preventing sheets from being stacked in an unacceptable condition. SOLUTION: A stacking tray to receive conveyed sheets one after another which are stacked thereon is equipped with a sheet pressing member to energize the sheets to below the tray side, and this sheet pressing member is driven. When the leading edge of each sheet is coming up, a solenoid SL1 turns a tail dropping member 181 to outside a sheet passing locus, and for the trailing edge, the solenoid SL1 turns the member 181 to the inside of the locus.
