POT BEARING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR METERING AND METHOD FOR MANAGING BRIDGE

PURPOSE: Provided are a pot bearing apparatus and a system for metering load or displacement amount applied to top plate by installing the pot bearing apparatus on top portion of a bridge to determine the values anytime. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a bottom plate(1) secured to a bridge by anchor bolts(8); a circular rubber plate(3) inserted into a bent portion of the bottom plate(1); an intermediate plate(4) onto the rubber plate(3); a fluoride resin panel(5) above the intermediate plate(4) and a top plate(2) attached with a stainless steel plate(2') by anchor bolts(8'). The apparatus further includes a load cell(6) inserted into and fixed to the bottom plate(1) and contacted with a portion of the rubber plate(3) to determine partial load applied to the rubber plate(3); and a connection passage(7) to send signals generated from the load cell(6) outward.
