PURPOSE: Provided is a process of preparing polymer optical material and article such as plastic lenses which maintains stable performance characteristics over a wide temperature range and has a nanoparticulate filler dispersed in a host plastic material. Because a nanocomposite material has improved shielding characteristics, a polysulfone nanocomposite optical plastic product having reduced refractive index changes on humidity is obtained. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing a reduced temperature sensitive optical article comprises: selecting a polymer host material having a temperature sensitive optical vector(x1) and a polymer host material having a temperature sensitive optical vector(x2) in the opposite direction of the temperature sensitive optical vector(x1); forming a nanocomposite material by dispersing the nanoparticles in the host polymer material; and forming the nanocomposite material to the reduced temperature sensitive optical article. |
